The Cafe

A Cork Family Run Business

Here's Health is a Cork-born, Cork-bred family business. We opened our first store on St. Patrick's Street in 1998 and, nearly a quarter of a century later, we still trade from the same shop. Six months after we began our journey in the city centre, we opened our second store in Douglas Court Shopping Centre.

Across our two stores by that point, we had 15 employees working with us. Ten of them still work alongside us today - which is an aspect of our business of which we remain immensely proud. We opened our third store in Wilton Shopping Centre in 2008 and, in 2022, we unveiled our very first wholefood cafe. Here's Health now employs over 60 people in Cork. 

The Food

Organic

Our menu consists of a wide variety of fresh, healthy and organic options with most of our dishes suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We also provide sustainable line-caught tuna and organic smoked salmon sourced from The Good Fish Company in Douglas. We use organic foods where possible and none of our food is genetically modified. We also recycle and compost the vast majority of our waste. 

Prepared Fresh Daily

Our food is prepared daily by dedicated chefs who bring to our kitchen a genuine passion for what they do. We use local suppliers as much as we can in order to support our community. Some of our local suppliers include the alternative bread company in the English Market, Lion L Raw Kitchen, East Ferry Farm, Organic Republic, Cork Rooftop Farm, Tartine Organic Bakery & West Cork Coffee.
